Privacy policy

Account data: name, email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, and your chosen membership tier.

Profile data: avatar, location, skills, availability, research identifiers such as ORCID, Google Scholar or ResearchGate links, and anything else you choose to add.

Verification data: membership numbers, membership dates and evidence documents you upload to prove AAAI.org global membership or eligibility.

Activity data: posts, comments, votes, club and event participation, course enrolment and progress, submissions and applications.

Payment data: transaction records, amounts, currency and gateway references. Card details are handled by the payment gateway, not by AAAI.PK.

Technical data: log records generated when you use the site.

To create and operate your membership, including issuing your member number and managing renewals.

To verify eligibility and global AAAI.org membership.

To operate community features such as forums, clubs, events, courses, certificates and opportunities.

To moderate content and enforce the community guidelines.

To report chapter activity to AAAI.org as required by the chapter programme.

To send service messages and, where you have opted in, the community newsletter.

Data is stored in our managed cloud backend with row-level access controls, so members can only read the records they are entitled to.

Verification evidence is kept in private storage and is accessible only to chapter administrators reviewing your submission.

Public profile fields, published research, articles, courses and directory entries are visible to site visitors.

Membership roster and chapter activity information is shared with AAAI.org as part of the annual chapter report.

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, payment processing and email delivery.

We do not sell member data.

Account and membership records are retained while your membership is active and after expiry for record-keeping.

You can view and edit most of your data from your profile settings.

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account by emailing info@aaai.pk.
